(Un) Bidden by

I left home because I
didn’t want to end up in a cage like a lab rat. Hitching rides, begging for
cash, and sleeping on the ground got old fast. That was the only reason I
braved an overgrown path to a group of buildings. I’d hoped to find a bed and a
decent night’s sleep. However, what I found was a place overrun by werewolves.
While on the run,
Charlene finds herself surrounded by werewolves, creatures she can’t control
with her mind like she can humans. Their existence has her believing she’s
found a safe place to stay, a place where secrets are okay. However, she soon
discovers she’s anything but safe. Charlene must learn how to use her abilities
to influence the strange new species because if she can’t, the next bite she
suffers might just kill her.
Read how the cycle
begins, and have no doubt. Charlene’s past will shape the future of the
Judgements.

Review:
5 Hearts!!!!
Beautiful Cover, Great Series!!!
Want to thank the author Melissa Haag and Ashley at Mark My Words Book Publicity for gifting me this book for a honest review, thank you. Super happy to be part of this!!!!!
In this 4th installment, we are taken back to the past, Charlene's past. I feel she is the most powerful of the group, being able to control everyone's will is powerful stuff. When Charlene is fifteen she runs away from home, not wanting to put her family at risk and not wanting her gift to be discovered, she wanders from town to town for a while when she ends up on a abandon property, hoping to find a place to sleep she is attacked by two wolves and bitten. When these wolves shift back to human she soon discovers that she isn't the only different one out there.
Not having any place to go she takes her chances with the werewolves, soon fights break out among the pack all wanting to claim Charlene as their mate. No one knows why Charlene being human is still a potential mate, but when she is bitten several more times and this claim does not work. She is tired of the attacks and the bites, she is not looking for a mate, but a home. She starts to make changes on the property and with the werewolves. The werewolves have pretty much have lived in their fur, most of their lives, and are not used to being around humans. Some of the werewolves are happy about the change and some of the wolves are angry that a human knows about them and is changing things.
Then there is one stubborn werewolf that will not take no for a answer, he wants Charlene, he is very alpha male, he expected to be listened too and not questioned, but
" You told me what I needed to hear, the truth. Someday I will figure out how to make you mine, and I can only hope I'll be worthy of you then."
At first he is rude and a bit rough with Charlene. But Thomas really surprised me, he worked really hard to prove to her that she is the one. I loved reading about them!!! I loved them together. Yes Thomas can be pushy at times but he really worked hard to win her heart. Charlene really struggled with her feelings for Thomas and afraid about what her gift might mean to the pack. We also have to remember Charlene was only fifteen years old at the time, very young, she acted much older and I tended to forget.
" I have secrets, I thought at him. " I know you do. And whatever they are scares you. Keep your secrets Charlene. It doesn't bother me. If you ever want to tell me, I'll listen. But your secrets won't change this or how I feel about you."
I loved how we see how the werewolves really evolved into the human world and how Charlene and Thomas had such a huge hand in all that.
"If I'm the hand that hold this pack together, you'll be the heart."
Melissa Haag gives us such a great story, and series so far. I liked how things tied together with past and present here. This book is my favorite so far :)

first book, Hope(less), in the series? It’s currently FREE!
Gabby's brain is like
a human fish finder. It comes in handy when she wants to avoid people. Mostly
men. They seem to like her a bit too much. It's lonely being different, but
she's adapted to it. Really. She just wishes she knew why she is different,
though.
In her search for
answers, she discovers a hidden community of werewolves. She immerses herself
in their culture, learning about their world until she meets Clay. He's
unkempt, prone to mood swings, intense without saying a word, and he thinks
Gabby is his.
It's going to take
every trick she knows to convince Clay to go away, and every bit of willpower
not to fall for him when she discovers the man beneath the rough exterior.
Delve into a riveting
world of werewolves and young women with unexplained abilities, in Hope(less).
