The sequel, Unholy Blue, will be released December 2015 from Spence City.
Synopsis
On the run across America from a vengeful shape-shifter, Bannerman “Bann” Boru has only one thing on his mind: keeping himself and his young son, Cor, alive.
At any cost.
Until he meets Shay Doyle, healer and member of a secret group of immortal Celtic warriors, the Tuatha De Danaan, living in modern-day Colorado. When Cor is injured, Bannerman is forced to accept her help. He quickly realizes that the golden-haired healer is shield-maiden tough and can hold her own on the field of battle with the big boys. And Shay soon discovers that there is more to Bann than meets the eye.
Now, with the shape-shifter Cernunnos teaming up with the local pack of Fir Bolgs (Bronze Age creatures with a nasty taste for children), Bannerman, Shay, her wolf-dog, Max, and the rest of the Doyle clan must figure out how to battle one insane god.

Book was gifted to me for a honest review, thank you :)
We are introduced to Bannerman "Bann" Boru an ex Celtic warrior of the Tuatha De Danaan "Fey" on the run with his son Cor after his wife is murdered by the god shape-shifter Cernunnos.
The Stag Lord Cernunnos has a very big grudge with the Boru family and is finally out for revenge. While on the run, Cor falls, is injured and is found and helped by Shay Doyle, healer and member of the Tuatha De Danaan. But Shay is different from the other Tuatha De Dannan Bann lived with, while most Tuatha De Dannan have turned their backs on him and his family Shay wants to help him and is not afraid. Shay is such a great character, warrior, healer and all around great woman. Even her family was supportive and stepped up to help Bann and Cor
Then there's Bann also a kick ass warrior and father, he loves his son so much and works so hard to protect him. He finally does come to terms that he needs help and that he cant keep running.
" Guilt's a crappy, useless emotion. Not when there's a better one." "Which is?" "Revenge. Cold, calculating, Celtic revenge."
"Vengeance, not remorse, Bannerman Boru. 'Tis the Tuatha De Danaan way. Ye cannot remake the past, but ye can rule this day."
You also see this beautiful relationship grow between Shay and Bann fighting their feelings and finally hooking up. Cor really suffered, being so young and having to deal with so much and then really stepping up to defend his father.
I was a bit worried that we were never going to get to see this Stag Lord, I wanted to see what he was and why he chose to finally attack after so many years, we still are left with some unawnsered question but its okay.
Over all a great read, loved the action, crazy creature and some steamy love scenes too.
