Chasing Forever Down (Drenaline Surf, #1)Chasing Forever Down by Nikki Godwin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I would like to thank the author Nikki Godwin, for gifting me this book for a honest review. What a great read!!
Loved this book. Very refreshing.

We are introduced to Haley is a 17 year old girl, one night she meets this mystery guy at a boring dinner party and they hang out. He talks about life and chasing your dreams and he inspires her to want something different to be free like him. He tells her to meet him the next day, when he doesn't show, she decides to find out who he is. He never tells her his name or why hes really there. With help of her best friend Linzi they find out he is a Professional surfer Colby Taylor. The girls go on a adventure of a lifetime and drive cross country to Crescent Cove, California. Finally after getting to Crescent Cove, she realizes it is not going to be easy to get to Colby, she has to get past his 4 bodyguards.

We are taken to this whole surfer world and we meet different groups of surfer guys. I loved the bodyguards, I imagined like real bodyguards in their suits, not a bunch of guys, like the party boy, the play boy. I loved how they were all different and had their issues. AJ was so funny and crazy. I liked how Haley was not a stuck up girl, she was just chasing this dream of Colby Taylor and meeting him again. I liked how they all were there for each other. I would of wanted to see more of Colby Taylor himself I guess. I like how she realizes that Colby is not what she thought he was. I have never read a book about surfing and this whole world about it that we see in this book. I really hope there is a next one, I want to see more of Haley and Vin.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book!!!! I had this book on my nook for a while, just didnt have time to read it. Jessica Sorensen is such a great author, I love all her books! We meet Callie, shes a loner and doesnt want to be noticed and shes forced to go look for her brother at a party and runs into Kayden and his dad in a very bad situation and stops things from going further. Kayden is a popular guy in school, on the football team. Kayden has never noticed Callie until that night. After running into each other again at the same college, they start to get to know each other. Callie is trying to move on with life and trying to deal with what happened to her at 12yrs old. Kayden has also been dealing with is share of suffering all his life. They both have big things they are dealing with. I like how their relationship grows and how they open up to each other. They are such powerful characters. I dont know how I would deal if I went through what they did. The ending OMG!! I cant wait to read the second book!!

I was really nervous when I started reading this one, I didnt know what to expect, I started reading and I was confused like I missed some important things, so I went and read Elxir and that got me back on tracked. I just love Alex and Aidan, they are such great characters. I love how Aidan would not give up on Alex, how he has always fought for her. It was hard to see Alex as crazy Alex after she awakens. I loved how their love for each other is so strong. It just sucks that Alex can never get a break, things just keep getting worse for her. Its not hard but to hate Seth, I was hoping for him to maybe change and redeem himself some how, but who knows what will happen. The ending preety much leaves you hanging but it was still good. I just love this whole series, all her books are such great books!!

I finally finished this book and I don't know where to start. I really like the The Selection and I don't know what happened in The Elite. I just felt America was very childish, I know she's only 17, but It was too much. She kept going back and forth about Maxon and Aspen. She would get very upset about Maxon talking and getting close with the other girls, but she was still seeing Aspen too!! How is that ok. I hope the next one is better, I hope America can see a better side to America.

Would like to thank the author and LOP for gifting me this book for a honest review.

Love reading about shifters, this was another different twist. Louisiana shifters collection included 3 books, Shifter in Acent, Shifters Dream and Shifters Legacy. The first book Shifter in Acent is about Tessa and Jace, Tessa is kidnapped by the Legion a group or clan that hate shifters or any paranormal, they see them as demons. She is forced to help them or they kill her sister. She is taken in by Jace a member of the louisiana pact, theres a instant attraction between them, Tessa doesnt want to trust Jace and struggles with what she has to do to help her sister. Jace doesnt want to fall in love or have a mate, he tries to distant himself from her, but finds it harder and harder. We meet alot of good characters, Kat, Maddie, Delcan and Jasper, enjoyed this story, I think it was good book to start off the series. I just felt like it was lacking something, Jace just didnt do it for me, Jace could really be a jerk. Tessa was good, loved the love she had for her sister and that they were close. Tessa was super torn on what to do if she should trust Jace and tell him what was going on with her. Overall good ending.

In Shifters dream, this story was about Emma, who has been having dreams about a man, hot and steamy dreams, and some not so great dreams, but hes always there, then one day out with her friend she runs into him, the man of her dreams Connall. This story, was also lacking, I was left with unanswered questions, like what is Emma??? Why does she have these dreams?? She also doesnt waste no time sleeping with Connall espcially being a virgin. I think this book should of been a whole book, longer.

The third book Shifters Legacy, is about Maddie and Jasper, newly mated. I enjoyed this one more than the last 2 books. Maddie and Jasper both stronger characters, both have alot of issues to work on. Both wanting to be together, but not wanting to be together. Maddie at times really got on my nerves, she was such a brat at times!! She really needed to work on that. Jasper and Maddie what they really needed was some communication with each other, if they would of just talked, but all they did was have sex the whole book, thats what it felt like, ya some of the scenes were really good, and very hott!!, but it just seemed thats was what preety much what happened in all 3 books, we did get some other action between the packs and the legion in the first and third book, but not alot. I felt like I needed a little bit more than just them getting it on. but I did like the books. Thanks again!!! :)

I would like to thank the author, for gifting me this book for a honest review and to group LOP.

This book was about two teenage girls Joan and Sidney. Joan is girl discovering shes a witch and she comes from a long family of witches. She struggles to control her magic, but she loves being a witch. Her mom and nanna want to live normal lives without magic, but Joan cannot except it. Then theres Sidney she struggles with high school and heartbreak. Sidney doesnt know about magic or that shes a witch too. Sidney's parents fight alot and she has no one
to turn too.

I like how we get two POV's of two different girls in different generations. I really enjoyed this story, more Joan then Sidney. I struggled with Sidney she just seemed very childish at times and both girls love lifes were just to fast. We didnt get in depth about the relationships. Sidney and Will moved way too fast, she hasnt seen him in years really doesnt know him that well, are not even dating and shes already in love and just moving way too fast. Want to read the next one, hope to enjoy it too!!

I would like to thank the author for gifting me this book for a honest review. And thanks to We luv YA books group.

We are Introduced to Gwyneth, shes a teenage girl when she was younger her family was murdered and from that she is blind, shes able to see grayness and some shapes. She lives with her foster parents and gets along with them very well, she tries to live a preety normal life, going to school hanging out with her best friend. Then one night she falls and meets Jace and his shape is white, bright and she senses something different about him and his friend. She tries her best to stay away from him and wants nothing to do with him. But Jace is everywhere and enrolls in her school is in her classes, he's determined. Soon Gwyneth starts to have visions and strange things happen when Jace and his friend are around her. Jace starts to tell her what they are and why they are there. He wants her to trust him, but Gwyneth stuggles that and with the visions. After things start to come out in the open on what she is or was, she struggles to except it.

I realy enjoyed this book. I did get a bit frustrated with Gwyneth at times with her always fighting her feelings for Jace. At times I got a bit lost on what was going on. At times I felt the visions were too much, ya we did learn alot from the visions, but some of the visions we saw over and over again. We did get to see how Gwyeneth and Jace's relationship was like. I loved Jace, great guy, he totally loves Gwyneth and how he would do anything for her. Great read!! Cant wait to read the next one. :)

I would like to thank the author for gifting me this book for an exchange for a honest review. This book was very different, it was a different twist on vampires.

The book starts off with Madeline and Marissa twin sisters. Madeline is more laid back and smart. Marissa is the wild one, a MMA fighter. After Madeline gets hurt during a fight and their father gets a new job they move from Austin to Pennsylvania. The twins are very pale and have issues with being out in the sun. The same night they get to their new home they go to dinner at the home of Wilhelm Morgenstern and wife Marlena. The girls are given two books a dairy and The Inmanitas Noctivagas, IN. The girls start to notice strange things happening. After Marissa attacks Marcus, the girls are told that they are Vampires or Quasi. Were introduced to different types of vampires.

I enjoyed this book, I like how we get different POVs from different characters. I really like how protective the twins were of each other and that they have a good relationship. I did feel lost at times during this book like with all the different types of Vampire names and how you become that type of vampire and with the Facis sacrum and Pharsi. At times it felt a little slow. It started to get really good towards the end of the book and the ending was good. Iam looking forward to reading the next book.

I really like to thank the author for giving me this book for a honest review. I am kind of new at this writing review business. When I first starting reading this book, I was a little lost on what was happening. But I was able get into the book.
Were taken to the future, I guess kind of like a Total Recall kind of place maybe. We start off with Caryn a 15 year old girl who has trained all her life for the chance to help retrieve the cure to a deadly disease. Evan knowing she will die after. She must win in the White Lilac Tournament. After winning the race, she gets offered a chance to leave the Compound for the very first time and visit the planet for 3 days. Then she meets Kai and she
picks him to be her tour guide. Kai has lived a very different life compared to Caryn, never knowing his parents, living off the streets. Hes forced by a gang lord T-man to steal a Betan Ruby. Together they travel around, they get along very well.Caryn starts to have doubts about the compound and the cure. Shes asked to make some difficult
decisons. Theres a few twists and turns, The ending was a big shocker!
Overall I really enjoyed the book, it was different, but I felt that it was lacking something between Kai and Caryn. I would of wanted to see more between them like a starting of something. Did they like each other as only friends? Was there a sparke? Thats the only thing that I didnt like, but the book was great!

First I would like to thank the Author for gifting me the book for a honest review. I really love Vampire books and this was a different twist on Vampires. It was very different.

We start off with Jazz a girl living in Australia, she lives a normal life, going to college, working and hanging out with her two best friends. Then she meets Seb and his friends, she is instantly attracted to him. It turns out that Seb is a Vampire prince from a different dimension. Seb and the rest of his friends are there to protect Jazz, from other vampires after her blood. She carries a rare gene, that lets other vampires reproduce. Seb is also attracted to Jazz, hes always been watching her from afar, but decides he wants to be with her.

I enjoyed this book, it got more exciting towards the end, but I felt Jazz didn't make very good choices. Like going through the portal! She knew she was in danger. I was not to happy with how things ended between Seb and Jazz. I thing Seb totally could of handled that better. If your looking for a different twist on Vampires this is it.

First I would like to thank the author for gifting me this book for a honest review.

I really really enjoyed reading this book! Wow!!! This was totally different twist on Fairies. We're introduced to Agent Thunder she is a fairy god mother and huntress, shes very cold at first doesn't liked to be touched, but also very independent and a bad-ass. Her job is to go after humans when they do not fulfill their end of their wish. On one of her assignments things get crazy and she meets Ciaran a very good looking leprechaun. After their encounter she gets reassigned and things begin to change for Thunder.

What I really enjoyed was we get to see Thunder awaken, she starts to see things very different and starts to feel and have emotions. I love how she cares for Solaris and wants to protect her. I also liked Thunders and Ciaran's love hate relationship, they were both very funny, it was different. You kinda of want them to stay together.

The ending was a shocker, really did not see that coming, can not wait to read the next one! This book was action packed, kept you interested. Great book!!!

I would like to thank the Author for gifting me this book for a honest review!!!

This book was very interesting, it was different. Leila is Courier and shes very good at it. Probably the best. Shes known for her work and never getting caught. Shes a very a independent woman, she knows how to defend herself and knows how to get out of alot of bad situations. But then her best friend Kay gets captured on one of her runs and to free her she agrees to marry King Nalick. Leila has heard bad things about all the kings and is upset about what
she must do. Leilas also not looking to fall in love again. After spending more time with King Nalick, she starts to have feelings for him and actually wants to marry him. King Nalick has always loved Leila and had been searching for her for a very long time. Alot of the other ruling Kings and nobles dislike that Leila and the King are to get married and there are several times she gets captured or almosts gets captured. Leila could never get a break it was like almost everytime she steps outside she gets taken captive.

When I started reading this book, I just couldnt get into it. It took me longer to read this book. I had to stop several times and take a break from reading. I did enjoy this book. I loved how she was able to move on and fall
for King Nalick. Toward the end of the book, when you finally find out what King Nalick was hiding I was shocked, upset. To me the ending was sad. I would of wanted to see more of their life after they finally get married.
