Gabby is girl living with her foster parents, she has this special gift. She can see glowing sparks that represent people, they have a certain color or aura to them, she doesn understand why she is able to see like this. She also seems to have a pull on men, they seem to want to me around her, even without her talking to them, she hates it. Then she meets Sam and he wants to help her and takes care of her like a grandfather, he introduces her to this other world of werewolves and their laws. Gabby is special to the werewolves also, she can become a mate to one of them. Sam over the years works really hard to get her to meet many werewolves, in hopes one will be her mate. Gabby doesnt want at mate, she wants be normal and go to college. She decides she is done with werewolves and their laws and is leaving for college, on her last night at these meetings, she meets Clay and things are never the same, she feels this pull for Clay, but ignores it and is off to college. After moving in with a new roommate in a new house, Clay shows up in wolf form and becomes the house pet.
I loved this story from the very beginning, I couldnt put it down. I loved that Gabby wanted to be independent and didn't want to be told who to mate. It was so funny to see her and Clay interact, both in wolf form and in human. Clay never talks, well maybe. It kept me reading, is he going to finally talk to her. I loved how their relationship grew. I loved the ending. I would of wanted to see more of Clay and Gabby after he starts talking. I loved how Clay fought for her and stayed with her no matter what. What I didnt like, we didnt get more on what she is and what her gift really is, I already read the second book and it was great too!!!

May contain some spoilers!!
We are introduced to Samantha, its her first year of High School. she is shy, more of a loner. She has never been
interested in boys until she sees Delaney Troy, the most popular guy in school and a total player who doesn't do serious relationships. Samantha joins the soccor team at school, Delaney also plays soccor and hes good at it. Samantha spends most of her time admiring Delaney from afar. Things change the following year, even after he tells her hes not interested asks her on a date.
Ok so where to start, I did enjoy the book, at times it was funny and frustrating. You hope Delaney redeems himself in someway at the end. You hope for a happy ending. The ending is what saved the book for me, well the epilogue was what saved it for me. I could not understand this open relationship Samantha had with her parents, how they were so ok with her having sex, how open she was with them, I guess it can be good thing to have such a good relationship with your parents, but it was too much for me at times. Oh Delaney!!! I really tried, but he was a total jerk the whole book, well the epilogue he did finally come through. Then there is Samantha, shes really young and has never dated, at times she was just so frustrating and you cant but feel bad for her for what she had to put up with to be with Delaney, and you cant really say they had a relationship. I felt Delaney totally could of given Samantha her place as his girlfriend and I know he has his family issues and it did take alot of growing up on his part. I did like that he did finally grow up, years later.
Ok, so on the soccor scenes, I think they were good, Samantha tried to get really good at soccor and loved when she tried to take Delaney on the field. On the soccor date, well she didnt seem to worried about being seen while getting intimate with Delaney.
On their first date, I just think they moved way too fast, it was the first date!! Even after she told him she didnt want to, he kept trying to convince her, but that can be your typical teenage guy, I have to remind myself that they are teenagers and not adults yet. but Not very romantic at all.
On the reunion with Anton, It was great, so funny! I loved how Samanthas sister were there and were so funny!!. The parents relationship with Anton, was just very weired. At times it seemed like Catheine still had feelins for Anton and Richard was ok with that.

The year is 2050 and we are introduced to Calla a young girl, who preety much lives day to day hungry. The world is very different now, people can only eat certain foods and can only have certain amounts of foods. You must weigh a certain weight. One day at school Calla fails the weight check and is sent to a center or Fat Camp, as people referred to it, where they help you watch your weight. The problem is Calla is not over weight and none of the other teens are over weight. Things are not what they seem in this camp. Calla is called in to the nurses office and is told she is not up to date on her shots, as soon as she gets this shot, Calla gets very sick, with fever. The doctors are experimenting on these kids, that makes you very sick. Theres this outbreak or mutation of some virus, people are dying and some are turning zombie like and are very agressive. With help of her friends Billy, Madge and Chef they are able to escape this camp.
This book was very different, I like zombie/dystopian type books, but I felt it was missing something, I needed more zombies maybe? I felt alot of things got left unanswered for us. If this becomes a series, I think theres alot of potential. While I enjoyed Callas character, I couldn't get into all the characters. It was hard to read how they were feeling. It was lacking. Billy seemed like a great guy, but felt like it was lacking. I needed more.

Our Souls to Keep by Gary A. Caruso

I would like to thank the author and LOP for gifting me this book for a honest review.
We are introduced to Wake he's a 17 year old Soul Collector working for Satan. His job is to convince teens to commit suicide and then they can keep their souls. At first Wake is okay with his job, he's one of the best in the business, then he starts to have feelings and memories of his life and he starts to question his situation. Then Satan gives him a new job, he needs to get a pregnant girl Annemarie to commit suicide. Wake realizes that he can't go through with it and starts to have feelings for Annemarie and starts to protect her.
I was never bored while reading this, there was action and it was fast paced. I loved Wake, he's so funny, he was joking till the very end. He tries to help Annemarie to the very end. All the characters were great. Even the really bad characters like Nevin and Satan, they was very funny. Annemarie, was a good character, sometimes she was a little too trusting, especially with Wake, she takes off with him and she doesn't know him.I was happy when Wake realizes that he can't keep scarificing himself for his mom, she to me seemed very selfish, she chose to commit suicide. But I really enjoyed this book, great read. Hope there is a next one.

I really enjoyed this book, it was different, loved the characters. We're introduced to Annalisia a 17 year old Principessa of Isalla, a magical world where there used to be Seers and Sentinels. Annalisia is a seer, but its been kept a secret. While her and her sisters are visiting another Kingdom, Annalisia finds out that she is engaged to be married to someone that she has never met and is very upset, after meeting her soon to be husband she begs her grandmother the Queen to let her go back home. Then on her way home by ship they are attacked and mistaking Mira her cloth maiden as the Principessa, Mira is abducted. Annalisia decides she must do something and she dresses as a commoner and goes out to find her, with help of her friend and Falcon boy Ilan and with Mira's brother Jovanni. Jovanni and Anna start to have feelings for each other. Jovanni doesn't know right away that Anna is a principessa. Anna knows she should'nt love Jovanni and that they could never be together.
I loved the characters, Anna is great girl, is a good friend, she would risk her life for them. I like that we got different POVs, mostly Annas and Jovannis, but we did get to know a little from the villians too. At times it did get to be a little boring waiting for something to happen. I would of wanted a little more between Anna and Jovanni, not a full on love scene or anything, but alittle more. Dont get me wrong I loved their love, but I needed more I guess, but enjoyed reading this.

We are taken to the small town of Cresent Moon Bay, Kira is a sixteen year old girl living with her Dad and Grandma and trying to live life as normal a possible. Kira is still trying to cope with the deaths of her mother and sister, she doesnt have many frineds, just her best friend Sean, who has always been there for her. Then there are some new visitors to the small town and group of teenagers, one them being Caleb. Then she goes to a party one night and is almost drowned and things get crazy from there for Kira. Truths come out about her and her family. Kira must make some difficult choices.
I really loved this book. I loved the mystery and legends in this story. This book had a little of everything, some romance, mystery and comedy. Kira was great, shes funny but also shes still dealing with alot and can act out sometimes. Riley was really annoying to me and plain mean. I loved Caleb and at the end of the book I was not happy, shocked. I really hope theres a second book!!!

In this book we are taken to New Orleans, where Jazzmyn lives and runs her restaurant The Sweet Note, Her restaurant is her whole life. She has a love hate relationship with the chef Kyle. Kyle cares for Jazzmyn, wants to protect her, especially since theres been some horrible murders and people are worried. Then theres the mysterious, good looking Julian and Jazzmyn is very attracted to him. But theres something very off about Julian everyone seems to notice that expect Jazzmyn. But Jazzmyn wants Julian. Well it turns out Julian is a Satyr and he is cursed to never be with a woman and never quench his thirst. Jazzmyn is the only one who can break him from his curse, but Jazzmyn needs to love him. Jazzmyn finally realizes she doesnt and can never love Julian, because she loves someone else.
I enjoyed this book alot, I loved that it was in New Orleans. I loved Jazzmyn and Kyle's love hate relationship. Kyle very funny. I just felt at times that Jazzmyn was just unrealstic, she even seemed obessed with Julian, maybe it was the Satyrs curse thing that made her like that and Julian well I didnt like him very much. You want him to change, redeem himself but theres not helping Julian. I couldnt connect with Julian or Jazzmyn. The ending was a good twist. Will read the next one!!!

We first meet Violet shes a Faerie in training to be a Guardian, their the protecters in her world. While on an assignement protecting a young man, things go very wrong when the guy she procecting can see through her glamour and then is able to follow her back to her world. Before she gets in more trouble than she already is, she must return Nate back to the human world and erase is memory. Things dont turn out that way, especially when Violet starts having feelings for Nate. Violet has never broken the laws of her kind, her whole life shes worked hard to become a Guardian. Both of her parents are dead and she lives on her own. She doesnt have friends, but she starts to open up for Nate. You cant but like Nate, he seems like a great guy. You get to meet Ryn another Guardian in training who has a grudge with Violet. After some unexpected events where Ryn and Violet must work together, things start to change between them. I really liked Ryn by the end of this book. I love how they fight with each other and have such a love hate relationship. They are both such great fighters. I was just hoping through out the book that they are able to be friends and maybe a little more. Great book! All great characters!

Graduation time is coming and Violet is getting nervous on where she is ranking. After everything that happened with Nate, she is still trying to get over his betrayal. For her final assignment for graduation she gets paired up with
Ryn. Ryn seems to be trying to get past his brothers death. Things get crazy while they are on their assignment together. They start to get closer. Violet starts to have feelings for Ryn, but is afraid to get her heart broken again. Things get even more our of control when Zell and the Unseelie Queen show up and a fight breaks out. They are able to escape and have to get back to the Guild without their magic, and having to walk back. Ryn was always there for Violet and their relationship grows. I love how Ryn is able to move on and open up to Violet, you see this great side of Ryn. You also see this great side of Voilet, and is able to move on from Nate. We really dont see alot of Nate for a good part of the book. and then out of nowwhere comes Nate. Lots of things start getting revealed. Lots of twists. The ending was just crazy. I dont know why Violet does what she does at the end. But great book! Loved every part of it. I cant wait to read the third book!! Thanks again!!!

The Faerie War by Rachel Morgan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I would like to thank Rachel Morgan for gifting me this book and giving me this opportunity to read this great book!!! THank you!!
I was so excited to read this book! where do I begin, so much happened at the end of the second book, we were totally left hanging. In this book Violet has no memories, she doesnt know why or how, she is like a complete different person. She has been staying or more like held captive by a unexpected group who does not trust her. After she proves herself to the the group they start to open up to her and she becomes part ot the team. They must figure out how to destroy Lord Draven. Lord Draven has been very busy, brainwashing all the other fey and destroying their faerie world. Ryn has also been on a mission to find a magical object that will help them destroy Draven, he has no idea what has happened to their home or whats happened to Vi. Finally Vi runs into Ryn, but when Vi sees Ryn she doesnt remember him at all. Ryn is super heartbroken to find out that Vi has lost her memory and that she doesnt remember him.
I love this series, Rachel Morgan gave us such a wonderful world, with such great characters. I loved how when you start to read this series Vi and Ryn hated each other. Ryn was horrible to Vi and Vi cared about Nate. Then Ryn and Vi finally forgive each other and start this beautiful relationship. In this final book we see how much they care for each other. Ryn works hard to win Vi back. Vi and Ryn must work together with some new characters and figure out how to destroy Dravan. Vi struggles with what Ryn means to her now that she doesnt know who he is. I loved how she opened up to him at the end. The ending to this series was great!! I just loved Ryn and Vi. maybe would of wanted more of Nate you cant but feel sorry for him. But a great ending to a incredible series.
