Marked by The Vampire, Purgatory # 2 Rated 5stars We are introduced to this world where Vampires and Werewolves exist, when they kill or can’t control their urges they are sent to Purgatory a prison for the paranormal. Dr. Olivia Maddox has worked to help and understand criminals on what makes them kill, now she wants to help these paranormals. With some help she is allowed to go interview inmates at Purgatory for one month. Purgatory is located on its own island and Olivia must travel on boat, upon boarding the boat, she is surprised she will be traveling with a new inmate a Vampire. Shane is not your ordinary vampire, he is working undercover for the Para Unit, his mission is to find the corruption happening in the prison and who is behind it, but Shane is in trouble he is attracted to Olivia and needs to protect her. Olivia also has a few secrets, when all hell breaks loose in Purgatory, she has no one to trust to help get her out but Shane. Things get very and I mean very hot between them. Then things go from bad to worse for Olivia a lot of things come out in the open, many revelations, she has to deal with a lot, but she stays strong and smart. I loved Shane he was a badass character, he truly was all about Olivia. Very good love scenes between them, and that last one… WOW!!

I haven’t had the opportunity to read the first one in this series The Wolf Within but definitely will!! Loved the Cover, I recommend this book and series to anyone who loves Sexy, badass Vampire and Werewolves with action and very steamy love scenes!!!!
