Welcome to The Hard Knox Blog Tour!!!!!!!

HARD KNOX A New Series by NYT Bestselling Author Nicole Williams The Outsider Chronicles, #1 New Adult/Adult Contemporary Released August 12, 2014 Amazon | Barnes and Noble Knox Jagger. The name inspires resent in every male at Sinclair University, want in every female, and contempt in Charlie Chase. Charlie can be summed up in three words: independent, independent, and independent. To Charlie, Knox epitomizes everything that’s wrong with college males: prolific one-night stands, drunken senseless fights, and a body that hints at prioritizing gym time over study time. As an up-and-coming writer for Sinclair University’s newspaper, Charlie’s tasked with getting to the bottom of who’s been dropping little white pills into girls’ drinks at parties. In an ocean of All-American boys sporting polo shirts and innocent smiles, Knox is the obvious suspect. As evidence piles up against the bad boy of Sinclair, Charlie becomes more and more certain it isn’t Knox. But when her drink is dosed at a party and she wakes up on Knox’s couch the next morning, Charlie’s left with more questions than answers when it comes to Knox Jagger. How can Charlie ever hope to uncover the truth behind a guy so closed off he’s become . . . Hard Knox. REVIEW!!!!! I WOULD LOVE TO THANK ATOM tOURS And the Author for gifting me this book to review and for the oppurtunity to be a part of this blog tour . Rating: 5 STARS!!!!!!!!!! I loved the cover by the way. So where to start, we are introduced to Charlie Chase, her dream is to become a big time journalist she is sassy and doesn't care what anyone thinks of her, she is hilarious too. She doesn't party like most college students do, no she goes to these parties to scope our her information for her next stories. Then there's is Knox he is the bad boy, player drop dead gorgeous and he knows it too. At one of these parties Charlie ends up being an almost horrible victim, but Knox is there and saves her. She doesnt know if she should trust this notorious bad boy, but they hit if off and after Charlie is almost a victim again, Knox has the great idea of her moving in with him, so he can protect her. They are attracted to each other but fight it. You know Knox is hiding some deep secrets, he has had it very rough and has some deep scars. Charlie wants to help him and she believes Knox is a good guy. I loved it when Charlie tells Knox how she feels about an Ever after page 178 "Everafter promises that no matter what comes or what has been, no matter who I become or who I was, no matter who you become or who you were nothing can break us apart. Everafter means forever, means no matter what. Ever is the glue that brings two broken pieces together, and after is the bond that keeps them that way". I loved her, she was a smart mouth and she tried to brush everything off, I loved how Knox and her would go at it, with their arguing. This was such a great story and I had my suspicion on who was behind the whole date rape drug, but I cant say too much. Thanks again. ******************************************************************************************************************** About the Author I’m the New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author of the CRASH series (HarperTeen, S&S UK), LOST & FOUND series, UP IN FLAMES (S&S UK), The EDEN TRILOGY, and a handful of others. Review time. Check out these two great books.. Honor Bound and Overlords Heir by Michelle Howard

Honor BoundHonor Bound by Michelle Howard
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

From the very beginning I was hooked. I really didn't feel like they were aliens it felt more like Games of Thrones, Vaan being the Khal Drogo
and Mikayla being the Daanerys Targaryen except with dark hair and no eyebrows, I loved it!!! The story takes off right away with Vann the Overlord and his Warlords being accused of murder and they are poisoned, but things aren't quite what they seem and with help of his mother his fellow warlords and Vaan have been put to a deep sleep instead. Things do not go as planned and Vaan and his Warlords have been asleep longer then anticipated. They are awaken later by Mikayla, here things get very interesting and funny. So Mikayla has just woken up the famous Overlord and his fellow Warlords and needs to marry one of them to help her people, she is desperate. and is way over her head when she ends up choosing Vaan. They are so different, she is Raasa and he is Kabanian and the two do not usually mix and most definitely do not mate.

I really loved Mikayla she loved her people and took care of them, she was sweet, strong, brave and really, really worked to make her union with Vaan work. Vaan very set in his ways and was used to having the woman do what he asked and not question anything, even though he was a bit of a caveman he really tried to protect Mikayla and her people and wanted to truly help. I couldn't believe the whole kissing and intimacy issues they delt with, it was so hilarious. The other warlords were also great and badass too. Towards the end of the book, you see this shift in their attitudes towards Mikayla they protect her. Then you see Vaan really learn to love and give his heart to Mikayla and really love her, it was great. The only issue I had there was a few editing issues that I ran into, but that was it. Great read!!!!

I want to thank Michelle Howard for gifting me this book for a honest review

I was so excited to be contacted to read this!!! But first I went and read the first book so I would not be lost while reading this book, loved the first book. So this is the second installment to the Overlord series and this book takes place where book one ended. Mikayla is very pregnant and almost due to have the baby. Everyone hovers over her especially Vaan and his Warlords, she is very emotional and very crabby. Vaan is so worried that she is over doing it, in his land Kabanian woman are mostly on bed rest during pregnancy, but not the Raasa woman.

Mikayla hates how everyone fusses over her and is not able to do a lot. When Vaan reveals news to her that he must travel to his land she is upset and worried. You know nothing good is going to come out with him leaving. So he is gone maybe one day when all hell breaks loose and Mikayla's home is attacked and she is almost killed. Then things get even worse when she goes into labor. I do not want to spoil what happens here. All and All a great little read. I did feel it was a little bit short compared to the first book. But loved it anyway!! I really hope Michelle Howard will continue with this series, especially with the other Warlords. Thanks again

Cover Re-Reveal and Author Interview!!! come out and take a look!!

The Merry-Go-Round
by Donna Fasano
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: December 2, 2009

When Lauren divorces her husband, she has one thought on her mind...stepping off the merry-go-round. However, her life quickly turns into a three-ring circus: her hypochondriac father moves in, her ex is using her shower when she’s not home, and her perky assistant is pushing her out into the fearsome dating world. She also has to decide if the dilapidated barn and vintage merry-go-round she was awarded in the divorce settlement is a blessing or a bane. As if Lauren’s personal life isn't chaotic enough, this slightly jaded attorney is overrun with a cast of quirky characters who can’t stay on the right side of the law. What’s a woman to do? She can allow life to spin her in circles forever. Or she can reach out and grab the brass ring.

What are you working on now?
I’m currently writing two projects at once. I've never done this before, and I can’t decide if I love it or hate it. I’m writing a Christmas Novella entitled Almost Perfect Christmas, the story of man who enlists the help of a woman in giving his daughter a perfect Christmas. Unbeknownst to him, his little girl has every intention of playing an angelic matchmaker. The other project is the first book of a 3-book series called Following His Heart, the story of a man who is eerily drawn to a woman, and after they fall in love, they discover what brought them together, and it just might tear them apart. Yes, the description is vague, but that’s just the way it has to be for now. I’m chuckling as I type this. Both books are contemporary romance novels and are due out this fall.

What are you reading now or what do you have in your TBR pile?
I just finished Learning to Swim by Sara Henry. I’m currently reading Love Me Tender by Mimi Barbour. On my TBR pile you’ll find A Reluctant Hero by Jackie Weger, Creatus by Carmen DeSousa, The Neighbor by Dean Koontz, Three Junes by Julia Glass, One Way or Another by Elaine Raco Chase…should I go on?

What flavor is your writing style?
I always tell people I write cotton candy for the mind. Think back to when you were a kid and you took a bite of that delectable confection. What did you do? You smiled. That’s what I’m going for in my romance novels.

Was writing always the first thing you wanted to do in life?
No, I wanted to be a teacher, but then I met and fell in love with my husband. We married and began raising a family. It wasn't until my children started school that I started writing.

While you were writing, did you ever feel as if you were one of the characters?
I believe there’s a lot of me in my protagonists. I write about women who are strong, yet vulnerable. My main characters and my secondary characters have flaws and make mistakes (don’t we all?), but then most of them do all they can to learn, grow and become better people.

Do you have any advice for other writers?
One piece of advice I often give to writers is to READ. Don’t just read in the genre in which you write. Read everything. And then figure out what you liked and what you didn't…and then think about why. Reading and analyzing the writing of talented people can help you perfect your own skills.

Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
I bow down to readers! I am so appreciative that they spend their hard-earned money on my books and then take the time to read my stories. I am so blessed to have a job I love, and I wouldn't have this job if there weren't readers who love romance novels.

What inspired you to write your first book?
I came to writing through my love of reading. I spent many a Saturday as a kid in the local library. I loved books, but I never imagined I would ever write one. My husband gets the credit for my becoming a writer. When my children started school and I decided to find a part-time job, he looked around at the piles of romance novels in our home and said, “You've read a lot of those. Why don’t you try writing one?” So, you see. It’s all his fault.

If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?
Not my latest book, but one of my titles—Where’s Stanley?—features an ending that I didn't come up with. I handed in the completed manuscript, and my editor suggested a different ending. I wasn't happy, but I did as she asked. Personally, I think the book suffered for it, but readers seem to enjoy it.

What books have most influenced your life most?
Old Yeller, Sounder, The Bell Jar, To Kill a Mockingbird…how can people read these books and not be influenced? There are so many titles that inspired me and moved me, molded and shaped me, there isn't time to name them all. The characters in these wonderful books help young readers to decide what kind of individual they want to be.

Do you ever experience writer's block?
There was a time when I’d have said no. I have a plant-your-butt-in-the-chair-and-the-words-will-come attitude. But I did suffer writer’s block while my dad was battling cancer. It’s difficult to write feel-good happily-ever-after when your beloved father is dying.

Do you write an outline before every book you write?
I do, yes. I equate an outline with a road made; how do you know where you’re going if you don’t have a map? I might write the first chapter or two on the fly, but I always take the time to plan out where I want the story to go. Now that’s not to say that the characters are going to stay on the straight and narrow. They decide to veer off the highway every now and then, and that’s when I have to do a quick reroute.

Have you ever disliked something you wrote?
I've never published anything that I disliked. I have started projects that haven’t seen the light of day, either because I couldn't figure out where to take the story, or I couldn't make the protagonist sympathetic or likable. It’s a rare occurrence, and when it happens, I just set the story aside and hope I can someday come up with a solution.

USA Today Bestselling Author Donna Fasano has written over 30 romance and women's fiction books that have sold 4 million copies worldwide. Look for Ehefrau auf Zeit (German Edition) due out September 16th, published by Amazon Crossing, and the first novel of the brand new 3-book Ocean City Boardwalk Series called Following His Heart, due to be released at the end of October.

Very Wicked Things!!!! by ILsa Madden-Mills

Braircrest Academy #2 5 incredible stars!!!!!!
I do not know where to begin with explaining how much I loved this book, blew my socks off, could not stop reading. These two main characters so different but also very much the same. There is Dovey Beckham
from the poor side of town, a student at Braircrest Academay and determined not to end up like her mother. A ballerina and very good at it too, its her passion her life, we get to see how she grew up, how hard her life truly was, things have changed now, but are still hard for her. She doesn't have time for guys, until she meets Cuba and changes everything. Then there is Cuba Hudson
popular, rich, football player and big lady's man. Of course Cuba doesn't do relationships, doesn't want to love, feels he doesn't deserve that. On the outside he is this popular happy guy, but in the inside he is truly suffering with some heavy demons. I also must advise you to read the prequel Wicked Beginnings its a must, I am afraid you will be very lost in this book. So everything that is going on now in this book is one year later from them actually meeting and a lot has happened. As we continure to read we bit by bit get to find out what exactly happened between them. Cuba has not talked to Dovey in a year, if you can imagine that, when one day both of them being locker neighbors things start to change. Cuba is tired of closing off Dovey and knows he hurt her so much. Dovey is so confused and hurt from what happened between them. So much is going on with these two characters. I actually hated Cuba for a minute too especially on how he broke up with Dovey, he was downright cruel. Then Dovey is really pushed into a corner with some very horrible situations involving her father, I could not believe how horrible her father was to her, it was too much. She had to make some very horrible sacrifices and what she ended up doing to pay her father back was just horrible and crazy. I couldn't imagine having to do what she did. After a lot finally comes out in the open between them. Cuba saves her, well the ending was incredible. This played out very well and this book was very well written. I recommend this book to everyone out there, but start with book one, I will be reading it too!!! This book was gifted to me by Netgalley for a honest review, Thank you.

Curse of the Chupacabra!!!! :) and Zak and Mia

Zac and MiaZac and Mia by A.J. Betts
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Synopsis The last person Zac expects in the room next door is a girl like Mia, angry and feisty with questionable taste in music. In the real world, he wouldn’t—couldn’t—be friends with her. In hospital different rules apply, and what begins as a knock on the wall leads to a note—then a friendship neither of them sees coming. You need courage to be in hospital; different courage to be back in the real world. In one of these worlds Zac needs Mia. And in the other Mia needs Zac. Or maybe they both need each other, always Review: I really enjoyed this story, I was worried how this was going to end especially dealing with cancer. Both characters going through this life changing situation and both handling it very differently.

We have Zak post marrow transplant surgery and on his way to recovery in the hospital, confined to his room. Zak is such a sweet, smart 17 year old guy, he believes in numbers or statistics then in faith. Then there is Mia a 17 year old girl new to the hospital and in denial about her situation, she is angry with everyone and pushes everyone away. Zac feels for her and doesn't understand why she is so angry, her odds are great, after he goes home and carries on with life he still wonders how Mia is doing and if she is okay.

Well Mia is not doing good, she goes on this downward spiral of lies and stealing and eventually runs away and ends up finding Zac. He is there for her and helps her through this, but then life throws this curve ball at him and he is the one needing the help. I was not liking Mia much, she was a brat and a bit selfish, but she grew on me, we see her grow and mature, she starts to see life differently and realizes how self centered she was.

Its crazy how we see Mia needing someone there for her, then it flips and its Zak needing someone, they basically needed each other. We see this great friendship develop between them. The ending was sad but not a way you think, we really do not know how it truly ends, but I liked that they Mia did not give up on Zak.

This book was gifted to me by Netgalley.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Synopsis They never thought their luck would be their curse. In the months following the onslaught, the extraordinary survivors continue to know no peace, as they are haunted by signs that the relentless creature remains on their trail. However, this fight will be better matched, now that they’ve discovered an advantage that will help protect them from the monster’s bloodthirsty lust. But once faced with the decision to kill the beast, the choice will not come lightly since it is still unclear which loved one the chupacabra possesses Review I want to thank the author for gifting me this book for a honest review.

This is the second installment in the Chupacabra series and it did not disappoint. This one continues on with Suzanne and Jessie barley escaping the Chupacabra, both wondering who is the Chupacabra now if its Jessie's father or uncle. Suzanne decides that she can not raise Jessie and hands her over to another family to raise her. Of course Jessie doesn't want this and is upset with Suzanne. I really enjoyed reading about these two characters in this book. Both have sufferd greatly being on their own. Things do not seem to be getting any better for them apart or together. We get introduced to a new group of characters some good and some not. I really liked James and Dale, I was hoping more of James and Suzanne. The romantic in me wants some more romance in a Western Horror book. I cant help it, Suzanne deserves her happy ending. We start this see this motherly side to Suzanne and she will probably end up taking on the job of raising Jessie. We get some good interaction with the Chupacabra, not as much as in the first book, he seemed different in this book for some reason. We do discover some new interesting news on the Chupacabra. The ending was sad again for me in this book. But thanks again. Still reading the third installment and will be posting my review on that one too. Cant wait to find out how it all ends :)

Beauty's BeastBeauty's Beast by Amanda Ashley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Synopsis Beauty’s Beast Beauty Fair of face and figure, Kristine is young, innocent, pure. Yet she has been condemned to the gallows for killing a man. The only one who can save her is a lord so infamous that some say he is the son of the Devil himself... And the Beast Erik Trevayne is called the Demon Lord of Hawksbridge Castle, but few know of the curse he lives under. Or the terrifying changes slowly gnawing away at his humanity. When he weds her, all he wants of Kristine is a son. But when he beds her, a wild hope is born—that love that can tame even the most monstrous of beasts... I have to say I really loved this twist on Beauty and the Beast, there was magic, love, loss and some steaminess. I felt this book was very well written, I was never bored, very beautiful cover. So we are introduced to Kristine a 17 year old young lady in prison for murder and awaiting her execution, then one day she is bought and is to be married to Erik Trevayne Lord of Hawksbridge, everyone has heard stories about this man and not good things. Kristine is worried and frightened on what will become of her married to this man, on her wedding night he comes to her and of course has his way with her. I felt a little sad for her on how that took place especially it being her first time, she was not allowed to touch him and could not see his face.

Erik is slowing loosing his humanity and becoming this beast he was cursed to be, afraid and upset you can imagine, not a very friendly guy. You cant help but feel for him, then after he starts visiting Kristine every night in hopes of her getting pregnant he starts to have feelings for his beautiful wife. I really liked Erik he was overall a good man and we see this change in him toward his wife.

What I loved about Kristine she was brave and strong, after everything she has gone through she wanted to be a good wife and get to know her husband and have more with him. She question things, like why he wore a mask and how he had a big thing on no touching and after she finally finds out what is going on she wants to help him, and was willing to make a huge sacrifice "one I would never do by the way" for him. One other thing that bothered me a bit, was everyone just seemed so hung up on how beautiful Erik used to be, I know no one wants to be a hideous beast, but come on now!! looks is not everything. Great book.

Hello Fellow Readers

Hi Fellow Readers,

My name is Mariela, and I am very good friend with Minerva the mystic GODDESS OF BOOKS AND REVIEWS(especially if the stories include any lycans, vampires or just seductive and dark aliens) and she is allowing me to post and blog on her blog. My dear friend introduced me to Goodreads and now to Blogger and what I can say about this great beautiful mind she loves her paranormal, she is like DC Comics "Flash" and reads fast, like little Speedy Gonzalez and she loves her romance paranormal! (*Please NO LOVE TRIANGLES, she hates them!, sssshhhh that's our secret!)

Anyways a little tiny bit about me, I am a blog virgin, ooooh aaaah oooh lalah! also I tried to be funny, I am a single mother of a beautiful, smart, social butterfly and a young reader 8 year old girl. I love books, my daughter asks me "do you love me more than books?", me: "Of course, honey, you are my sunshine and cloudy, foggy, thunderous and exhaustive reason to breathe for", of course by then my daughter gives me look that tells me I won't be having time to read......
Tessa and Mom

I love to read any Y.A. Paranormal, N.A Paranormal Romance,Historical Romance and Steamy Books. My hobbies literally consist on Books, Library, Goodreads, Amazon, Pinterest, Movies and trying to conquer the world  to read more books and spending time with my daughter........

Kissed by Kimberly Roth
 ****

I would like to thank the group We love YA Books and the author Kimberly Loth for gifting me this book for an honest review!!!!
Oh My Dear Kaiser Wilhelm Roses!!! PHEW! I surely hope I spelled that right!!!*giggles* I enjoyed reading this book so much, like a lot, I was concern about the kissing part thought!

I do not like boy’s cooties or any germs(*herpes, “cold sores”), well I was thinking of a product placement in between, Chap stick, or the new lip balm in shape of an egg(I do not own one! L, *whispering*- ”I think they look weird”)… Well, where can I find a guy that comes in the middle of the night, keeps me safe and kisses me like we are about to sink down with the Titanic? And no I am referring about Jack or Leonardo Di Caprio, I am talking about the only and mysterious Kai, that boy is like an ice cream in the middle of the Mojave Dessert…..

Poor Naomi! I was so sad for her, I was worried that something horrible was about to happen to that girl, I cannot comprehend how parents treat their “ONLY CHILD” like they treated her, she only knew love and caring and nurturing until she was 8 from her grandma and the father she knew back them but suddenly she lost her grandma then her dad turned fanatic and secluded them from the rest of the world, Naomi’s mom was like a zombie, like really woman, this is the 21st century, do something!!! Nope that woman truly irritated the hell out of me, I wanted to slap her….

Naomi meets a new girl at school, Ruth, finally someone that Naomi could talk to, at least she had a friend, but of course the Crusaders of God, and by that I mean, good-for-nothing Dwayne Yerdin had to keep tabs on his propriety, and by propriety I mean Naomi. (For God sake’s, who arranges marriages nowadays?) Well Dwayne according to Naomi’s Father is her fiancée… Really! Can THAT girl get a break!!!

Nope, after she befriended Ruth and an Ax scare, they only talk during their time in the school bus, then the boy that kisses at night found letters from her aunt, finally I get a taste of hope in this story, even thought I was thirsty enough to accept a kiss from my beloved Kai!!
The wedding date gets pushed to an early date, the parents found that the letters from aunt Ginny are missing, then the punishment and then surprise, surprise “the cops”, so Naomi’s parents pull out a Bonnie and Clyde deal minus the bank robbery and more of the killing part….. SHOCKING!! Of course, Child Protective Services made an appearance so I was like about time that poor girl gets rescue, but who I am kidding it’s Child Protective Services, they are just going to dumped her in a foster home, maybe Ruth’s, naaaaaw, not even close….. The Yerdin’s……..
I am like Hell NOOOOOO, TO THE NOOOOOOOO! Oh well, Naomi’s scape and Kai, came to the rescue. *sigh*
Well Naomi gets to scape and seek refuge at Aunt Ginny’s but of course this girl, comes from the bunnies, like literally has not clue of the real danger in the real world, like come on didn’t you eavesdrop at school…. Well who am I to judge…. So we finally met Aunt Ginny and then Ricky, which I did not like her at the beginning but later on the story she grew on me, anyways there were some new characters introduce, Alejandro, he was funny and I could see him as an uncle figure for Naomi, then Jason was like a cousin and then not so much a nice relative, so at last Puck, but for some reason his name reminds me of a mischievous fairy in Avalon, oh well, he is very mature and then he completely turns bipolar and then…..

Yeah sorry Puck, I like you but it just did not work for me, those mood changes were hard to keep up with.

Well I truly liked the story, it had a love triangle which was not so much of a triangle and the paranormal side of the story was enough to keep my attention into the development of the story, I love anything that has angels and the divine, so I am kind of bias! Kissed kept me absorbed into the narrative of the story, I felt confused with Puck and Kai, those two are similar but so different, and Naomi completely shocked me with her decision after hell broke loose with her parents, and I felt like watching the Bachelor and giving the final rose to the wrong person, but at the last minute Naomi chose who I thought was perfect from kiss #1…..

I really hope that the author will continue with this series, that triangle has to be more challenging than that…. And Ricky and Jason come on there has to be something there, right? And what about Puck? Ginny and Alejandro? And Naomi? And do I will see Kai becoming a Sith or a Jedi? (*There is nothing about Star wars in the story!) But Kai reminds me of a young Jedi!!!!

Overall A Good Read!!!
